The results from my MRI on my back are in, and I guess they don't seem too promising. I went to see my
new family Dr., and he said there is heriation in a disc which is cause for concern. He has
referred me to a neuro-surgeon to see if surgery is an option. The neurologist also called me and said
there is a bulge between L4 and L5, and concurred with Dr. Callahan to see the surgeon. The surgeon said
that the bulge really isn't a concern, but there is definite herniation L5/S1. He also said that since
I'm not in pain anymore, and there's no weakness in my leg, he sees no need for surgery at this time. So,
due to the recovery I've made in the last four weeks he suggested keep doing what I'm doing, and that he'd
see me again in another four weeks. Which means, no racing, lifting, or anything for at least another
four weeks. So, it's good news that I don't need surgery, but kind of a bummer we can't race for at least
another four weeks. Anyway, here are the results from the races at Tri-City. What we might start to do, is
take the car to the track and sign-in so we at least get some "show up" points.
