Calhoun County Speedway has become a real jinx for us lately. At the beginning of the year, we lost the VW motor in the pre-season practice. Last time there, it rained, and this time, the car was running awesome in practice until coming out of the 4th turn of the second hot lap session, it started to blubber and mixing up the cylinders. I quickly pulled it out of gear and got everything shut down. Come to find out, the magneto had jumped time again, so the motor definitely wouldn't run. We didn't have the parts to get it fixed, and our night was done. Our next race is at Mansfield Speedway this Friday!! I hope to see some familiar faces there! Then, July 8th and 9th we're gonna try the USAC races at Toledo and Mansfield, so we're gonna be in the area for a couple weeks.
