April 29th, BKC at Columbiana

Results

April 29th was the first race in the Buckeye Karting Championship Series. It took place in Columbiana, Ohio, which is about a three hour haul for us. There were a total of two, yes only two karts in our class. We won the first heat race, was second in the second heat race, and also ended up second in the feature. We are the points leader by one point though because we started on the pole for the feature. The day was extremely long and when you add the sun beating down on you into the mix and the day became even longer. I was happy with how we ran considering it was the first time we had ever seen the track. We didn't break anything, the racing was safe, and travel to and from the track was safe. I would also like to thank Kremer for giving up most of his day to help us out, and Tim Foust for giving up ALL of his day to tow the trailer and help us out.
