June 3rd, FRP Points Race #4

Results

It was another blustery day at Fremont Raceway Park yesterday....which caused us to be chasing our tails a little...well...a lot. Since the track was so cold...we were having a problem getting the tires to grip. We also had a problem with the motor cutting out. We did manage a 3rd place finish in both heats and the feature though which keeps us solidly 2nd in the points. After we returned home, we realized the problem with the motor cutting out was that the jet was too big. My dad and I were so busy trying to find the major problems that we didn't take the time to look at the data we were getting and make the simple fix. Basically, we were both really frustrated about the whole day. Our next race is at Fremont...Thursday...June 7th. If any of you are around...it be great to see you there. It's free to watch, but \$8 if you want to get into the pits and help.
